Good god you're persuasive. That is pretty awesome.

I feel like my NYU visit is going to complicate my decision-making process. :|

Also - when you come in March I'll introduce you to some 1Ls/popular hang-out spots in the Village. Try to make your decision a little tougher.

I am excited! I'm visiting Chi right after NYU (during the same trip) so it should be interesting!

I'm pretty sure Forza's success at Law School is going to make all of us "T5ers" extremely jealous, so I would go easy on that kind of talk!

A hard copy of the viewbook that can be downloaded on the admitted students website
A letter (seems like a form letter but very nice nonetheless)
And a copy of the "Glass Menagerie" which is kind of their student facebook but it also includes profiles of their faculty.

And the Rubenstein invitation

Boo! No package in St. Louis. It better be here Monday, but I also remember be being way late in that first batch of purple envelopes. Thanks USPS. I did get a graduation card as a small consolation prize though...

Looking again at some of the photos and set ups at Algonquin, I'm starting to like it more and more. The way that the photos showed the studio divided up made it look neat. I think that and the reported clunkiness of the university housing process is making private the more appealing option.

+1, Heat is included. Someone from a past thread said heat ran them $400+ in winter and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Regents includes it.
Regents caps heating bills at around $70 I believe.

Any idea whether that's sufficient for the worst months?
I'm not sure what you mean by sufficient. What would make it insufficient?

As a St. Louis native, someone who enjoys alcohol, and someone who hates taxes, I found this graphic in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch a little depressing. Probably won't change my mind though

Don't worry. The Law School will subsidize your drinking most Friday afternoons if you find yourself unable to afford it otherwise.

Lulz. Awesome. It would only marginally affect my consumption. Also maybe spur me to load up when I'm at home! :D

I think I see the miscommunication. Cali is just telling us not to worry about outrageous heating bills at Regents because no matter how much heat you use, the most you will have to pay is $70. I think Kili was thinking that they only allow you to use $70 worth of heat and was worried that more would be necessary in the cold winters. But it's good to know that we won't have to freeze if we go with Regents! Correct me if I am misunderstanding what you both meant.

Ah yes, that makes sense. So to clarify: Regents caps how much you have to pay at ~$70, not how much heat you are allowed to use.

(Keep in mind I don't live in Regents, so I'm not positive the number is $70, but I'm fairly certain it is close.)
