and for all intents and purposes tied with Cornell  I wonder if the Cornell jokes on this board might slow down a little now.

Yeah this place is weird.. all these charts are all in good fun but honestly snapshots like these are pretty useless. Its better to have data over at least 3-5 years to balance random occurrences(firms certain schools well-connected with hire more/less, temporary market conditions, just random changes in class size, variations of less than 10 students getting nlj250 year over year, etc,)

Is the hotel really $229 a night?! I don't know where I saw it, but I'm pretty sure I saw $110 somewhere. It seems like the block is full already anyways, unless I'm missing something. I'll probably call tomorrow.

EDIT: Just called. $229 a night.

When I pulled it up it was still available, though I think I'm going to find other accomodations. I'd love to have a hotel room, as then I could bring board games/libations, but I'm not sure if it's in the cards financially.

Just bought my ticket for ASW! :) Can't wait! I'm working a lot these days but it's great to know there's always a little comic relief waiting for me on this thread when I crawl home from my dreadful (but temporary!) job. See ya in April!

On another note, looking at my avi...I guess you can say Chicago is on my mind.
lol, some people call it red..

Basically, you totally got my number and then blew me off
I didn't mean to... :| Make it up at Chicago ASW?

Is everyone in here doing the ASW or just a Day in the Life? Because I might do the latter instead.

Is so weird that there've been no posts in here for five hours! Crazy.

Anyway, for you guy who have booked your tickets for ASW, when're your flights? I'm trying to figure out the timing, esp with that last bus tour thing that's on last year's schedule.

What are you trying to say? That we all are or will be a bunch of delusional alcoholics who will eventually take ourselves down from our lucrative and glamorous jobs in a self-destructing implosion?

A very astute observation...

I'm not staying because I want to get back, plus I don't think we can stay with our student hosts an extra night (unless you ask? I dunno). Want to book flights soon, though!

I'll be staying the Saturday night. I may stay one night w/a student one night in a hotel. I'd really like to see more of the city and my potential classmates/future alcoholic degenerates/TSL-ers.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
