I found some steal of a deal on bookit.com, but I'm on my phone so I don't know the name of the hotel. I think it's on East 24th IIRC

Hm is it close? I have some friends in the city I can stay with but they're pretty far away. Thinking I'm still leaning toward saving the money though.. can't decide.

Probably on the social aspect/meeting your future classmates.
Speaking of... Is anyone else planning on being at the March 3-4 ASW?

It's under preferences at the top of the screen after you log in. Note that you can only change your personal one once a year, so pick one you like the first time!

I'm going. We can talk about how long we spent making our avatars and stuff.

We're going to be lawyers. Of course. It's either that or cocaine and I'm a much bigger fan of the former.

I'm a bit late with this, but I recommend going even if you're sure you'll attend. Last year they gave out free t-shirts and supplied lots of beer. Primarily, you're likely to meet people who will be your friends during the year, and these people are probably not going to be in your section. Not only do you come into school knowing a few folks, but they can introduce you to others, and that makes life quite a bit easier for you.

psh orange and blue forever!
also, I guess I'll be one of the few TLSers attending the march 3-4 ASW. I'm staying with a couple friends in the city march 1-2 and with a student host march 3-4. SO EXCITED!!!

Haha what are we going to do next fall when it's football season and we're all rooting for different teams? Class debates are going to have a lot of fire in them! But anyway let us know how the ASW goes!!!
