I got the name of a dude, but he refuses to respond to me. I'm kind of expecting him to have declined or gotten off another WL or something.

Or maybe he hates the idea of interacting with other humans.
You can keep your reasonable assumption though, I guess.

I've chatted with my roommate a couple of times on FB. Dude seems mad cool. We're into the same music and sports so it should be a pretty chill year.

Also, I got a roommate assignment, but he's going to defer a year... So, back to square one on that front.

I am down for the bulgogi eating and the bridge. The sports, not so much. Though if anyone would like to watch a proper football match, come find me.ahduth wrote:

I don't know how to play bridge, but I'm really quick at picking up new card games and I would definitely like to learn.

I'm totally down for Fantasy Football. No way I could keep up with the NBA and their 600 game seasons.

Re: NYU Class of 2014
Bridge is not good if you have trouble with regret. I'm still irritated I went for an overtrick on a 6D contract last night for no reason and of course lost, then I guess I must have been flustered, so I played high cards early in a 3NT contract and went down several tricks. Luckily my partner and I were the only ones getting dealt any points. But it's definitely a great game if you like annoying tactical issues and bizarre coded negotiation.birdlaw117 wrote:I don't know how to play bridge, but I'm really quick at picking up new card games and I would definitely like to learn.
edit: If you're quick at picking up bridge, you'll do just fine as a lawyer I'd have to imagine.

I know Bridge is crazy complicated and full of nuances. But I would still love to learn...
