Yup, along with my $750 check and my deferral request letter. An expensive gamble.
Nice. I'm sure you'll get it.
I was waiting to receive the admitted student package they emailed us about but it hasn't come yet
I was
just wondering if anyone had gotten the admitted students binder yet!
Nope
I live in NC so maybe that's why...
I think its been two weeks since that email...

Did they send out the swanky portfolio's again this year? I'm totally going to be "that guy" carrying my NU portfolio around NU's campus, wearing an NU shirt, using an NU pen...and so on.

There we go! Got my packet today, in Oregon. Nice portfolio thing. Of course, the admitted students guide was already available in PDF on the site, so I've already read it, but my dad is more likely to read the hard copy.

It'll be quite a shock coming from the Pac-10 to...whatever NU is. Are the Wildcats even DI?

Received the packet yesterday. Does anyone know anything about the University Housing, specifically Abbott Hall. I am trying to figure out why 2 bedrooms are 2200+ and the abbott 2 brs are 1325.

I believe Abbott Hall is for students with families.

Does anybody have insights as to whether AJDs are more or less likely to receive some sort of need/merit (since it is supposedly based on both) aid? Thanks

I imagine they use the same standards, but I am just guessing.

Does anyone know if the FinAid app is reviewed by the same people as the initial application? The first question is basically asking for a Why NU? essay, which I wrote. I think it is the best piece of law school related writing I have done (better than my personal statement), and I think it played a role in my admittance (especially considering that I sent no LOR's). I'd like to reuse it if I can. Also, if different people review the apps, would't I want to send them something like this that they haven't seen?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
