If any 2L is willing to part with a Glannon CivPro E&E for a reasonable price, please PM.

Treatises - $20 - some highlighting, might not be most recent edition, but still in really good shape and edition shouldn't matter for these.

Prosser & Keeton, Torts

Calameari and Perillo on Contracts

Friedenthal, Kane & Miller, Civil Procedure

LaFave, Criminal Law

-------------------

Peter Low, Criminal Law Outline - $5 - (this is the author of your crim casebook, and goes pretty well with the material).

Torts E&E - $5 - some highlighting, but overall in good shape

Chirelstein Contracts - $5 - some highlighting, probably my favorite 1L supplement

Abraham Tort Law - $5 - some highlighting, pretty helpful for Torts.

PM me. First come, first served.

FYI I sent you a PM if still available. Its taking a long time to get through the TLS server.

Ok, PM still hasn't gone through, I'll claim three of the treatises (minus contracts) and the low outline if they are still up for grabs. Can meet at ls anytime.

Contract Law and Theory: Selected Provisions, Restatement of Contracts and Uniform Commercial Code

Criminal Law, 3d (University Casebooks) Bonnie, Coughlin, Jefferies, Low

Casenote Legal Briefs: Criminal Law - Keyed to Bonnie, Coughlin, Jeffries & Low

All are in great condition with little to no highlighting. Will take fair price.

If someone still wanted that Glannon E&E, give me a holler. It's back on the market. Three bucks only; it'll pay for some dumplings on the Corner.

Good method for measuring the value of currency.

Glannon on CivPro (this book is gold, ask any 2L/3L)

Chemerinsky on ConLaw (also gold)

Property E&E

Gilbert's Property

Abraham's Torts

Low on Crim

Chirlestein on Contracts

Gilbert's Crim

If you want any of them let me know, I'll sell them for pretty cheap. They did me well, so I highly recommend them.

I have some hornbooks/supplements for sale as well, PM me if you want to swing by and grab some, or if you want to know which ones I have. I'll definitely sell them cheap as well.

Not a 1L, but based on course evals currently up:

2 grades: D, I
1 grade: C, G, L
0 grades: A, B, E, F, H, J, K

It is a maddeningly slow process. It seems seems incredible that they are unable to turn around even a small section's exam grades in one month.

I have no idea if it's the grading process or if for some unknown reason there's a manual process standing between the professor awarding grades and them being entered into SIS.

Surely they don't have a bunch of elves entering the professor's grades one at a time?

You're referring to Cary Bennett. See the UVA students taking questions thread. He is not a popular figure around this time of year, though it is more a mixture of the professors being SO lazy in grading and then the delay from when grades are turned in until whenever they are available.

The student records office (run by Cary Bennett) receives grades from professors, and then passes them on to the university (where they are posted on SIS) and posts course evaluations on LawWeb. Most of the delay is simply the professors being slow, but if several days go by where literally nothing is posted to LawWeb and SIS, then it likely means student records is sitting on grades.
