I think you are jumping the gun on worrying if your app has only been in for 3 days.
I haven't heard of too many ED acceptance more than a day or two. Lots are within hours!
I'm not saying you are in, I'm just saying there are several examples of people getting in at least after 5-6 days, and in maybe one case after 11-12.
They are getting a fuller and fuller class, and at some point they are going to have to slow down on auto accepting EDs to carefully consider the direction the class is heading. I still think you have a good chance at acceptance. Don't let yourself worry too much until this time next week.

A question for the fortunate admitted students: Is there any incentive to paying your seat deposit early? When do you get access to your UVA Law email for instance or access to the stuff current students can see? Anyone have any idea? Perhaps those who deferred until this year?
You don't get access to the UVa email until late in the summer, well past the seat deposit deadlines. So to that end, there's no real incentive to paying them early.
You should be able to get your email address in late April or May.
Thanks for the answers. Much appreciated.

How quickly do they reject ED applicants? Does anyone know? Is it also within hours of going complete?

Seems to be on the 13th or 14th day for many people.

Accepted ED on 10/28 via phone call. Went complete on 10/26, so it was a quick turnaround.

all the quick turnarounds were before October LSAT scores were released. I suspect a surge in applicants has slowed things down.

11/1 complete, 11/2 ED received, 11/8 waitlisted
So it's almost impossible to get off the waitlist right? I need to decide by the deadline tomorrow if I am going to retake the LSAT.
Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

Sorry to hear it! I wouldn't say that it's impossible, but I wouldn't count on getting in off the wait list. You should hedge your bets by retaking.

Still waiting - looks like I'm now in straight ding territory, or they're taking an awful long time debating my application...

Haha we'll see if they were able to overcome the problem they called about on my app. I'm fairly sure I'm getting dinged for it.

Quick question: My app went complete (according to LSAC) last Friday and my ED form was received then as well. So when should I be expecting a username and password so I can check my app status?
Thanks.

If you do not have one by the end of the day, definitely email them and ask tomorrow. I completed mine on a Sat. and got my email on a Monday.
That said, your app status will not say anything you do not already know.

Ok, thanks. So just email the admissions office tomorrow if I haven't heard anything by the end of the day?

I emailed them and then 20 minutes later I got mine, but I think it was just incidental. They responded an hour later and thought something went wrong, but I just jumped the gun by a few minutes. They respond really quick usually to email, within an hour, if you're impatient you can even email them today.

I'll try to be patient and wait until tomorrow to email them. Thanks for the help, LSU Undergrad.
