From what I've seen it looks like they're really going for a 170 hard floor, I was kind of expecting a WL or ding.

yeah, i feel like those are my two potential routes...169 and a gpa on the low side. but i haven't heard anything yet today, so here's hoping. i know i did everything i could.

I am a VA resident. However, I am aware of at least one EDer with similar numbers who got in who is not.

Anyone know a link where it states that being WLed means I can ED elsewhere? I just want to make sure I don't commit a huge party foul by doing so here...

They could very well be aiming to raise their median GPA, given the overenrollment over the last few cycles.
