After looking through past posts, it is possible that we're on the all male block. sausages unite.dabbadon8 wrote:

H is an all male block, all the blocks that have only three floors are single sex because there is only one bathroom.mblueyahoo! wrote:After looking through past posts, it is possible that we're on the all male block. sausages unite.dabbadon8 wrote:

Re: Michigan Class of 2014
I prob should have clarified: A-C and F-G all have three floors so they are single sex. D and E are over the arch and have 4(?) floors but were single sex last year, may have been mixed in the past.
Also, the one bathroom thing isn't as bad as it sounds. It's 13 people sharing two stalls and two showers, I think I had to wait maybe twice for a shower and even then it was like five minutes.

do you know if there's a way for us to know if we're street side or quad side? like, if you're an odd number then you're facing the quad, etc..?

Are all the rooms numbered in the teens on the first floor, twenties second floor, etc?Joan Hollaway wrote:I prob should have clarified: A-C and F-G all have three floors so they are single sex. I don't suppose you can tell if you're quad or street facing based on your room number
I really don't want 1st floor street facing =(

So the first number is your floor. I know for sure that if the second number is a 1 then it is facing the quad (with the exception of D and E block- no idea how those work) and I think that for the 3rd floor if your second number is 4 then it faces the quad and on the 1st floor if its a 5 it faces the quad and all the others face the street. On the second floor there are two double rooms and the common room for each faces the quad and the bedrooms face the street. Hope that makes some type of sense....mblueyahoo! wrote:whew. that's good.Joan Hollaway wrote:I prob should have clarified: A-C and F-G all have three floors so they are single sex. Thanks, so I guess I'm on the first floor then... At least I'll be facing the quad I suppose!Joan Hollaway wrote:So the first number is your floor. C-11 here! Definitely a little too excited about getting my room assignment, considering I really have no clue what it means. Any other C's out there?

I guess you've probably mentioned this fact previously, but I've been absent from the boards for so long I think I missed quite a bit.

Re: Michigan Class of 2014
Actually, it is the first time I mentioned it because I talk some dumb shit on these board and don't want to look bad to my housemates before they meet me. I figured it really doesn't matter.artichoke wrote:Haha, I see, nice! I didn't actually check out the phid house at ASW, but I heard from habit that it's awesome.
