Re: NYU Transfer 2016
I just withdrew my application, so hopefully that will be one less that they will have to review!
To be perfectly honest, I had begun to lose hope that I had much of a chance anyway. XD
Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I'll update the thread if there are any movements. Let me know if you hear anything as well. For now, I guess it's back to work.activateyourneurons wrote:We are in a similar situation. Does NYU send rejection letters via snail mail? Kinda sitting in limbo here and am unsure what to think. Just want to keep my expectations in check.
Also (thoroughly) checked spam and see nothing. Maybe I'll just need to wait for the letter. Personally, I would appreciate a quick ding via email than a prolonged, snail mail rejection...
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!

Have you called admissions yet? They'd at least give you hint either way.ChicagoCubs5 wrote: Also (thoroughly) checked spam and see nothing. Maybe I'll just need to wait for the letter. Personally, I would appreciate a quick ding via email than a prolonged, snail mail rejection...

I thought about calling them but then I kind of just realized that if any letter is supposed to come it should be here either today or tomorrow and I'll simply await my fate. Whatever happens, happens.fistfullofdollhairs wrote:Have you called admissions yet? They'd at least give you hint either way.ChicagoCubs5 wrote: Also (thoroughly) checked spam and see nothing. To be completely accurate it's actually "decision notification sent" listed under mailings. The status still shows as under review.

Just received my acceptance phone call. My current status update changed to DLS today (unlike what I said before; that was under mailings). Good luck everyone!

Re: NYU Transfer 2016
I'm trying to think of a reason to request an expedited decision. This wait is definitely aging me. I'm already in NY and would accept even if I miss the OCI deadline so... I don't really have a compelling reason to find out sooner rather than later.

Re: NYU Transfer 2016
I rank in the top 7% at a tier 2 law school, 2 cali awards. I have gotten into Cornell and Berkeley. My applications at NYU and Columbia have been under review for a couple of weeks. Has anyone with similar stats been admitted to Columbia or NYU? Or does anyone know what my chances may be? Thanks in advance

Top 10% (I like to hope 5%) at T2. So I am similar to you elvira22, heard nothing yet from NYU.

Thanks for this. Did you ask for an expedited decision or did they just send out an email?qds6HVzD wrote:Top 10% Tier II, great (or so I thought) softs.
