Same here, looks like they're reviewing the first batch of the applications they received. Do you know when they'd reach out for interviews, if they do? I need to find a good laptop since mine freezes regularly during skype calls.CheddarArachnid wrote:Went to "Under Review" today.

3.7 from Chicago area school. No rank until after first full year but the last 3 years had 10% at 3.65. Finally went complete today. My school jerked me around since April 29th on getting my Law School Cert Letter out. I am hoping that being late to the party doesn't screw my chances at ED, especially because it was outside of my control.

It's Chicago the only place you want or?theramblingfool wrote:It's incredibly hard to find lateral transfer information. I want to maximize my transfer possibilities from Michigan, and am wondering how much better Early Decision is? I think I was about top half of class (maybe a bit higher, we don't get rankings until we graduate) and expect my second semester grades to bump me up a bit. Is it worth the wait, or should I put in the binding transfer app now?

Just a quick update. App went complete on 5/9, UR today. Does anyone know if the decisions will be released as one batch at the end of May or on a rolling basis?

Curious, is ED Transfer to Chicago easier than regular traditional transfer to Chicago?

Anyone hear anything yet? From reading the 2015 thread it appears that interviews were offered around this time.

Re: Chicago Transfer 2016 (Class of 2018)
I have no reason to doubt you, but this just doesn't seem true. I feel like Chicago can be just as selective as it wants... They'd really only be trying to get people through the binding ED who have a real shot at YHS, who don't seem like they'd apply ED anyway. Maybe to snag people from Columbia and NYU? I don't know, I'm just rambling to avoid doing write-on.n1o2c3a4c5h6e7t wrote:Yes, much.Pomeranian wrote:Curious, is ED Transfer to Chicago easier than regular traditional transfer to Chicago?

Re: Chicago Transfer 2016 (Class of 2018)
Surprised that no one has received an invitation to interview yet (I havent either)...it's surprising given the highly competitive group of applicants on this thread and how previous threads confirm May 19th as the date. Of course, there is no incentive to hide an invitation as it is only good news.
