If the bidding deadline for OCI is on the 23, is anyone considering transferring if they accept after the OCI bidding deadline?

Congratulations on the acceptance. Are you going to withdraw your application with UChicago?

We got a notice this morning that they are pushing back the deadline to Sunday July 26th at 8:30 PM CST. Perhaps this may be related to transfer holds.

Anyone think a chance exists that someone will go from the hold list to the accepted list?

I think pushing the OCI bid-deadline was to allow one or two last transfers the weekend to submit bids.

Thank you for providing us with this information. At this point, I think we can all agree that any response from UChicago would be a good response. Even if it is a denial, at least we do not have to constantly worry about whether we will get in and we can finally just move on. Again, thank you again for providing insight and hopefully we all hear something today.

Still on hold, but considering they are closed now and they only pushed the OCI deadline till this Sunday (assuming they are closed over the wknd), I doubt they will accept more transfers...

Yea it is pretty ridiculous that they haven't sent all the acceptances and denials by now.

Right? I was thinking about calling them. Jeeze, what if people need to move to Chicago and find a place to stay... seems like they are just going to deny everyone, but confused why they are taking so long.
