Presenting the 2015 transfer megathread. Congrats to everyone on finishing 1L! Feel free to post all about transferring, but ultimately let me know where you're headed and what your stats are so that we can give future kiddos a better sense of what it takes to transfer (and feel free to pm posters about their cycles). Good luck to everyone!

Gray will not be able to out-do the detail and artistic statement made by my transfer C/O '16 thread's banner.

Thanks scotti. Applying to Harvard (Hail Mary), likely one of CCN (probably Chicago), and one of the lower T14 for scholly negotiation purposes. Top 4-5% at 30-40's, will share results.

Your paint edit was a thing of beauty. It is good to upgrade from North's stuff though and Gray/Xylo make all of this stuff look so easy.

Good luck, I definitely think HLS is worth the app! Otherwise are you staying at your school and shooting for local biglaw?

Yeah, if I don't get in at HLS I'll probably stay and try for local/regional biglaw or a clerkship. Congrats on G'Town btw!

Ok nice, well you have the grades to put yourself in a good place no matter what happens. And thanks! Wasn't expecting to end up at GULC but it's actually worked out perfectly since I have medical circumstances keeping me in DC, so I'm glad I had EA'd and already have everything set.

You can put me down for Chicago as well.
T2, top 1-2%, ED
You can also indicate somehow that i'm willing to answer questions via PM if you'd like.

T1 (40-50 range)
Top 1-2%
3.91 GPA
Applying to HYS. Have considered applying to Columbia but I don't think I'd go if I got in. So not sure if I will.

Yep. You have the standard admit stats at CLS. Top 5% at T1 is a great shot.

Alright, you convinced me. I'll send in the app.
Edit: You owe me $115 if I don't get in.

Yeah dude apply to CLS. I definitely think it's worth the money. That was my dream school but I didn't do well enough second semester anyways.
And no worries bro, but thanks. Honestly the way everything has worked out for me otherwise (school, job) I can't really complain.

T5 or bust here right now. No disrespect intended towards nyu; I'm just too claustrophobic to live in the village I think.
I'd be giving up a big scholarship to transfer, and I think with my loquacious yet humbly charming personality I'd get a biglaw job from my current school no probs. Yet the thought of one day being dubbed a federal judge by the likes of Chelsea Clinton is too great a temptation for me to be dissuaded by mere short term financial concerns.
