A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

UR 1 Early-mid July
Thinking no status change yesterday means probably a ding. I wish they would just tell us already so we can know our options.

When was yalls last status change? Mine is stuck on UR 7/8.
6/24...then I emailed them on 7/13 asking if they were missing any of my materials. My status checker then updated to UR 2 on 7/14, and decision letter sent this morning. Good luck!

I had another status update yesterday on 7/14. No DLS today so far however. Bad sign?

My last status change was UR 7/9...I really wish they would just tell me. I want NYU more than anything and would probably go there even if I got in to Columbia as well. But this close to the end of the month I need to find an apartment and move across states. :?

What email address did you send it to? Mine is UR2 7/8, but I do not have the college questionnaire box checked off.

I literally just got a call from New York, and it wasn't NYU. Fml. Heart beat at 200 for no reason.

No status update since 7/9, DLS update some time this morning but I didn't check until after the phone call.

I called admissions yesterday to request expedited review because of LR offer, and they said based on my status dates (UR 7/9) I should get a decision soon.

So based on the number of people who got in first wave/today, there's probably not going to be a third-wave?
