B --> S or H?

Postby Anonymous User » Mon Jun 08, 2015 7:26 pm

Hi All,

Rising 2L at Berkeley. I am having trouble figuring out my class rank. My grades are as follows:
HH - 9 units
H - 14 units
P - 5 units (1 unit writing; 4 unit doctrinal)

1 Jurisprudence Award (highest grade in class)

I missed a lot of class due to a family emergency that kept intensifying in waves, so I'm not super attached to Berkeley. Ideally, I would like to transfer to Stanford, however, I have heard that Harvard takes more transfers so it is more likely. I am paying sticker with no debt, so $$$ is not an issue. I plan to work and live in the bay area. I have a 1L firm position this summer in the bay area already. At some point, I would like to work in academia.

Questions:
I only have a week to put together an application so I'm wondering if the Ps mean I'm dead in the water as is.
