Does anybody have an idea of the typical amount of spots available for transfers on law review?

I think I remember reading in past threads that just a few people made it on, but I could be completely off-base.

Similar question but for journals in general. Id be interested to see how many transfers actually do th competition and how many get any journal. Starting the competition today, yesterday was last day to buy the packet.

Check out the Georgetown Law Journal Comparison Chart. It has the number of positions for every journal.

Yes, but it doesn't say how many of those spots are reserved for transfers.

I haven't heard of anyone getting off the waitlist, online or irl, besides HungJuror, who got in like three days after the waitlist came out.

I would e-mail GULC admissions with Withdrawal as a subject line or something similar.

I think a brief email (or phone call) stating that you are withdrawing your acceptance will suffice. Some schools have different procedures, but that seems to be the most common way.

You can call or email. I would try calling. Worst case scenario they will tell you that they want it in writing.

I was looking at the transfer thread from last year and it looks that out of the wait list only 2 people were accepted. What a horrible number :(

Also it happened around July 28.

Are you attending? Did you send a LOCI or anything after WL email?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
