Now that people are starting to get dinged, I'm beginning to think Penn might have lost my application...still UR 6/18, no interview. At this point, I just want some sort of decision.

Dingo at my baby. Starting to realize I had no business wasting $600 on transfer apps. Congrats to the admits.

Hey everyone. Congrats on everyone that's been accepted so far, and good luck to everyone still waiting. Be sure to join us over in the TLS Transfer Cycle 2015 (Class of 2017) thread once you know where you're headed!

Anyone asked for a follow-up skype session? They asked if I could answer a couple more questions. Thoughts on what's going on?

They probably want to make sure they fill the class and people have been withdrawing their acceptances once NYU/Uchicago/Harvard/etc. released decisions. PM me if you want some useful/possibly beneficial tips.

Withdrew on Friday after being accepted to Columbia and NYU. I used to live in Philly, but currently live in Brooklyn, so staying made sense. I had an interview with Penn, but didn't want to take a spot from someone who really wanted to go and wanted to make the admissions' team job easier if it was between me and someone else. Probably heading to NYU. Just waiting for the ding from Harvard. :D

Good luck everybody!

Is there an admitted students fb group or something like that? Does anyone have any suggestions on housing?

Dinged by email. Oh well, I'm not enjoying the East Coast anyhow. Time to go back home to California.

lmao. what did you say in your interview? "I've never been to Philly and don't think I would like the city very much. " :P

Withdrew from penn. It was a really hard decision and I loved the school, but hopefully made the right call...good luck to all those on the fence! Hopefully I just opened a spit for one of ya!

NYU. Mainly hinged on the fact that I'd miss regional OCI's due to my 1L SA and that would take me out of my top two markets (obviously not NY)

Good luck to all!

I'm not heading to penn but I'm from philly so I'd try to help out. If you're looking to live in an upbeat, younger crowd, I'd recommend Manyunk / Roxborough. It's roughly 20 minutes from campus driving and there's easy access to the train there too. There's alotta night life, restaurants and what not around. If you want quieter, more young professional-life place, I'd recommend Conshohocken, it's a late 20's early 30's crowd mostly and is a little more relaxed than the city but also further. You can find places in either location for around $500-$1,000+ a month (figuring per person not total) depending on size and what not obviously. If you're gonna live somewhere in the heart of the city def do your research cause there are some characters around. Hope this helps

PS - wrote this on my phone so excuse errors

I have a room available in an apartment in graduate hospital (it's where many Penn law and med students live). Very cheap for the area, big apartment with off street parking included, and on a month to month lease. It's perfect location for Penn and especially ideal for someone scrambling to find a place before OCI or school starts. Move in date is negotiable. PM me if interested...will likely be taken by end of the weekend.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
