Really? I mean I reread the letter and it doesn't seem binding...are all the rumors about it being a cut-throat bloodsucking place true?Paragon wrote:you can always get out Come!SowhatsNU wrote:In at Columbia, don't know if I can get out of MYU tho

Everyone gets a job. I'm happy with the V50-100 and don't need the V10. So I'm not worried about the bloodsucking, whether or not it exists!SowhatsNU wrote:Really? Same...I'm very quickly losing hope. Last year, it looks like rejections came via snail mail in early August.DownWithRBG wrote:These one per day acceptances are going to give me a heart attack. When do we give up?

seriously. This is pretty crappy. Anyone have any plausible predictions about what's going on? Any more acceptances coming?

CLS appears to be doing rolling instead of waiting until they have 30 and releasing them at once. As of Thursday, they had only accepted 17 people.Elleonleo wrote:seriously. This is pretty crappy. Anyone have any plausible predictions about what's going on? Any more acceptances coming?

Thanks for the heads up, Nebby. These rolling admissions are killing me. But I guess I have to be patient since I didn't go complete until the first week of July.Nebby wrote:CLS appears to be doing rolling instead of waiting until they have 30 and releasing them at once. 30? Their 2014 509 report showed they took 46 transfers last year. So they do rolling admission for the other 16?

30 was a random number I chose; it has no significance. What I meant was that CLS appears to be doing rolling admissions versus admissions in waves.

Nebby, is the 17 people accepted figure "official" or based on the number on the transfer facebook page? Just curious.Nebby wrote:riku33090 wrote:Nebby wrote:CLS appears to be doing rolling instead of waiting until they have 30 and releasing them at once. Neither. Based off of what admissions told us (I'm a transfer mentor).lawman84 wrote:Nebby, is the 17 people accepted figure "official" or based on the number on the transfer facebook page? Re: Columbia Transfer 2015
Thank you Nebby.
Two follow ups.
1. To get to their 46ish transfers, how many do they accept?
2. Does having not been accepted/rejected since going complete in late June mean anything?
My fiance and friends are dying to know if I got in because otherwise it looks like I'll be moving moving across the country. I'm not sure if I can wait too much longer. Is there any sense in callin/emailing to ask for an expedited answer. I'm sure plenty of people are in similar situations but I figured I'd ask. Thanks Nebby.

Nebby, you've revived my hopes with this news. Guess I'll keep stress-checking my e-mail all week.Nebby wrote:Neither. Hopefully, for my sanity's sake, I get accepted sooner than later.
