Re: Columbia Transfer 2015
Hey everyone. SowhatsNU and I launched a Facebook group for transfers who are attending Columbia this year. Here's the link:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1455667001423697/
You can also search "Columbia Law School Transfer 2015" and it should come right up. I'm having an internal debate on whether I should change "Transfer" to "Transfers" and welcome comment. See you there!

Glad to know! I looked for one but I must have missed it. I emailed the mentors to ask them for help. Thanks!Mr.F wrote:There's already an official Facebook page that I believe was set up by the transfer mentors.Paragon wrote:Hey everyone. In at CLS today 3 PM via email. They were waiting on a dean cert. - file never went complete insofar as email notification is concerned (it was mailed Friday so basically same day turnaround).

I also asked for an expedited review, however I have not heard back. Can I ask, are you in the area? Cardozo/Brooklyn?

Does Columbia provide housing for transfers like they do with regular students? I was hoping they did.

You wouldn't by any chance have a link to this group? I just had my tonsils out today and am super groogy and unable to do anything useful on the internet but trying to at least get some prep done.Mr.F wrote:There's already an official Facebook page that I believe was set up by the transfer mentors.Paragon wrote:Hey everyone. Got accepted to NYU yesterday, so I'm going to be in NYC either way - but just emailed Columbia letting them know and repeating my request for an expedited review. It'd be insane to go to Columbia, so hopefully my email helps!

Anyone have info re: whether all hope is lost or not? In other words, does anyone know if they're planning to admit anymore people. This wait sucks

No info but I'm with you. I've given up all hope bc my stats are on par with lots of admits and I've been complete for well over a week now.butlerraider1 wrote:Anyone have info re: whether all hope is lost or not? I'm confused too. Based on your two guys' numbers and mine, I'd think we'd get in. But I haven't heard anything either. It's odd.AT9 wrote:No info but I'm with you.
