Does anyone know if you have to fill out any application other than the fafsa for the dean's grant?

Oh right the thing Nebby was talking about. I don't see any separate sort of application or anything. Nebby?sandwhich wrote:Need based grant, up to $25k per year.

There's a separate need based application that you'll have access to if accepted.Anonymous User wrote:Oh right the thing Nebby was talking about. I don't see any separate sort of application or anything. Nebby?sandwhich wrote:Need based grant, up to $25k per year.

So once April hits we should start checking to see if we can get passwords to the ASW?

Re: GULC EA
OP should change the title to "GULC EA Waiting Thread 2015" or something for future TLSers

Re: GULC EA
I've noticed that other threads have included a spreadsheet up front to aggregate our data and see how that affects the decisions as they start to roll in. Not sure how to set such a thing up -- or if anyone else would be interested. I guess time would probably be better spent preparing for finals, but it might be an interesting resource as we move through this together.

Since we're only a couple weeks out from EA decisions I thought I would post my stats for the benefit of other TLS GULC EA applicants. I'm not expecting to get in EA but I applied regardless...

I hate to be THAT GUY but you're interning this summer right? Pretty sure there's no such thing as a 1L SA, and saying so could be seen as misrepresentative if that's how you put it on your resume.zosluu wrote: Softs: patent eligible, 1L V100 SA

Color me surprised. But if being a paid intern makes you a SA i think there's still a distinction.butlerraider1 wrote:There are certainly 1L SA'ssandwhich wrote:I hate to be THAT GUY but you're interning this summer right? My offer letter had summer associate on it. And all the attorneys I have interviewed and spoken with have all referred to it as a summer associate also.sandwhich wrote:I hate to be THAT GUY but you're interning this summer right? EDIT: Thank you for the clarification on the ASW question also!

Then yeah boast that if that's what the firm is calling it. Certainly sounds better than intern anyway.zosluu wrote:My offer letter had summer associate on it. Lol they weren't boasting, they were just mentioning a soft factor. Granted I'm not sure if it does much at all for transfer admissions but it doesn't hurt.

Yeaaaah I'm not sure you read my post correctly. My point was merely that SA sounds more impressive than "intern" and he should put SA if it's what he's doing (which presumably he did).Anonymous User wrote:Lol they weren't boasting, they were just mentioning a soft factor. Have you already applied EA to GULC and GW? If not then you're too late to apply, but you can do regular cycle. What class rank are you at WCL? (either numerical or top%). If you're top 15% at WCL then you have a good chance at both GW and GULC.
