Is anyone else psyching themselves out pre exams?

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Nov 16, 2014 10:50 pm

I feel way more stressed out as a transfer going into exams than I did 1L year. I think part has to do with the fact that I am now at a law school that I would not have been accepted to with my lsat score, so I am convinced that my peers are more intelligent than I am. Anyone having similar concerns?

I'm not a transfer, but law school grades at a lower school are undoubtedly a better predictor of law school grades at your current school than are LSATs. I uniformly assume transfers are better at law school and more hardworking than me.

tbf my grades were pretty bad 2L year. but hard to say how much of that was due to stress of moving/being at a new school/just generally not giving a fuck after 1L.

calm down... the LSAT isn't that accurate. It's not like you had a 165 and you won't be able to be in the top quarter b/c the median is 168.

You'll be fine. Cuz had a 156, went to a T2, transferred into a t14 and graduated #7 in class. Just do whatever you did last year, again.

Your statement leads one to believe you graduated #7 out of the T14 when in fact you're still a 2l.

I read that as talking about his cousin. That or his fellow gang member.

I read that as about him, he just forgot the "I" after it, which is understandable when one uses "cuz" as a short for "because."

"Cuz" being short for cousin makes a lot more sense in the face of such a glaring contradiction.

I call flame. No T14 tells you your actual class rank anymore unless you're part of the UVA clerkship scandal.

Gotcha. Yes, "Cuz" meant cousin. I ended up not transferring but he did.
