WUSTL/ND/UIUC ---> NYU

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Jul 10, 2014 2:46 pm

1. 25k/year scholly
2. Biglaw aspirations, not geographically picky
3. Made Law Review
4. Somewhere in Top 15 - 10%

Should I leave for NYU? I'm afraid that I am right on the fence for biglaw, and I will regret staying if I strike out. However, I will be equally pissed at myself if I pay an extra 70-80k for essentially the same outcome. I don't really care about the increase in prestige (school or firms).

Wut do?

Have you negotiated the scholarship with the NYU acceptance?

I emailed the powers that be today, but haven't heard anything back yet. Anecdotally, I've found no past stories of scholarship increases granted for transfer acceptances.
