A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Just got put "on hold" which is evidently like a pseudo wait list. I'll ear back next Tuesday.

Killing us softly. I think this is better than a straight ding like finding out your girlfriend is cheating on you is better than getting dumped by her. I can't believe they are going to tell us on Wednesday and then want a deposit by Friday.

I would think so. :lol: They're gonna see how many people pay the deposit and then admit held people accordingly. Hopefully cross-admits choose other schools.

I'm pretty sure it's in late August or early September. Either way it's not until after orientation starts.

The wait is tormenting. Knowing when you will hear back almost makes it worst. I wonder how many people will turn down NU's offer. C'mon people, you know you want to go to Michigan or Chicago or Harvard ;)

Just got off the phone with AdComm. All decisions have been made-takes a few hours for system to update (at least that is what they told me).

This wait is horrible.
