Re: LSAC SMOKE SIGNAL
I said fuck it and had the school mail my transcripts directly. With my luck, LSAC will process tomorrow and I'll be out twenty bucks for no reason.

You two are making me nervous.
Do the transcripts take longer than the letters? It seems like they banged those out for me relatively quickly.

I've been waiting nearly two weeks for the transcript to process. The LOR took only a few days.lasersgopewpew wrote:You two are making me nervous.

Re: LSAC SMOKE SIGNAL
Yep. Email the school, tell them the situation. Tell them your school took longer than expected to release spring grades and to make sure your application is ready by the deadline, you have a scanned copy of your transcript, and that an official version will be ready as soon as LSAC processes it. They will most likely be fine with it. This type of thing happens all the time I bet.UnfrozenCaveman wrote:Email unofficial transcripts?

Re: LSAC SMOKE SIGNAL
What's worse is that you have to email them to generate a form to include with the transcript. So that's 5+ fucking days for them to get back to you, 2 days to send the transcript to them, then a million fucking more days for them to process it. LSAC blows.

Yep. We all know the solutions. Doesn't make the process any less of a pain in the ass.echooo23 wrote:What's worse is that you have to email them to generate a form to include with the transcript. Will all schools accept an official copy from the school instead of through LSAC? I can't fucking wait 5 days to get the form and then another 2+ weeks for them to process it. That's going past 7/1 and is absolutely unacceptable.

Most schools will. Check their website or give them a call and ask.

Re: LSAC SMOKE SIGNAL
Does anyone know how long it takes for LSAC to update the schools attended list, for CAS purposes? I called them yesterrday and apparently will only add the school if requested via e-mail . . . .

Re: LSAC SMOKE SIGNAL
I emailed them and they updated within a few days, but that was back in April. They will probably drag their feet now because they're so backed up with the transfer apps.zozin wrote:Does anyone know how long it takes for LSAC to update the schools attended list, for CAS purposes?
