Grades/Rank

Post by Anonymous User » Tue May 07, 2013 12:30 pm

Anon so as not to out myself.

So if my school says they hope that class rank is available by June 15, what am I supposed to submit to schools regarding my class rank? I ideally do not want to wait that long to submit my transcript and information, but June 15 is the deadline for a lot of schools and rank/grades seem to be the most important thing.

Thanks.

Why wouldn't you just submit the transcript you have thus far and add a note that class rank/updated grades are anticipated to be available on June 15.

OP here. Because I'm hoping this semester grades will bump me up to have more of a chance and the bigger picture rather than 1 semester will likely do that. I guess I could just submit grades and then update them later w/r/t rank? Thanks

Do this, update ASAP when you know. If deadline is June 15 then feel free to wait until then to submit to see if you can get everything together, but if you can't send what you can and follow up. If they're interested they'll wait.

(I applied at deadline for SLS and about two days before for Berks - got in to both. I don't think early apps matter in the transfer cycle)
