It was one of those cardboard packages that lay flat from UPS. Not sure if you'd call than envelope or not. In it was the purple NYU law folder.psach44 wrote:All you received was an envelope?

How long have you been under review? I'm still waiting to hear from them as well. I'd say stay put and hang in there.q4ern wrote:Still haven't heard anything from Admissions. What should be thinking at this point? Do they do dings in email or snail mail?

UR 7/9, 7/10, 7/11...Nothing since Thursday. Hoping the deposit deadline for the first round opened some spots up.
Let's hope for some movement.

I think the next deposit deadline is this Friday. So perhaps this week folks will be notifying them of withdrawals.psach44 wrote:I know there are sort of two early deposit days. One today and one Friday.

Hmmm...I say wait until after the 19th deposit deadline, then consider inquiring.ism3232 wrote:Was UR 6/27, 6/28, 7/3 .. no movement since.LouisXIV wrote:How long have you been under review? Varies. Over the last couple of years, 38-58 enrolled each year.psach44 wrote:I know there are sort of two early deposit days. One today and one Friday.

Edit: clarified my last statement.

This is about that time for the schools that have moved early (NYU, Harvard, Yale, Chi) to wait out their initial admits.
There won't be movement until the second wave.
Columbia however, has barely moved initially so there continues to be updates there.

And, my guess is some admits are awaiting word from Columbia.

So do you think its a somewhat good thing not to have been dinged yet. Meaning I could be on some sort of waiting list?

Re: NYU Waiting Thread 2013
That theory has been floated in the earlier pages. Could likely be the case. I would feel more confident about that if there had been at least some dings reported on TLS or elsewhere that I knew of.q4ern wrote:So do you think its a somewhat good thing not to have been dinged yet. nyu never dings people. at a certain point you know, sitting in your first 2L class, theyve passed you by. you go on hoping, in some uncertain future, that youll get the call. but by then, even you know its all just one cruel charadeq4ern wrote:Has anyone been dinged from NYU Law yet?

I am not so sure that NYU will be extremely affected by CLS. They each have almost similar stats and positions. The NYU withdraws will more likely be from the YHS crew.LouisXIV wrote:+1psach44 wrote:q4ern wrote:So no one had any action today? Another day goes by...

My first UR was during the week of the 4th, and then updated transcript information changed the status a couple of times after that. Good luck!TheZoid wrote:When was UR date?dtownlove wrote:FWIW, I got in today so it looks like there is some movement.
