A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Agreed. I wouldn't have had anything close to this opportunity at my old school!

Also, slightly paranoid about the post on the last page. We didnt have any events today did we?

Nah no events today- had no clue what that was in reference to either.

Orientation the 12th, PIE the 12th and then the show begins...

Yep! I submitted around July 15 I think and was off the list the next day. Just make sure you write that you are willing to take an alternate assignment if they don't have the unit of your choice. Hopefully there are still spots left!

Ah, gotcha. I think that's actually what you went to the night of the 6th. If thats what I think it is, I noticed it in a email a couple weeks ago and emailed OCS and she said it was a typo.

Anyone know where we can view courses? Bidding opens tomorrow, and apparently we are supposed to bookmark courses before bidding, but I can't figure out how to see any of them since we can't log into ABRA.

Ok thank you! And yeah, it is pretty stressful, but I keep telling myself I would much rather be stressing at NYU than staying at my old school lol.

On another note, I don't see a dress code for orientation on any of the MANY emails we have received. How are you guys planning to dress? Do you think this a casual thing?
