NYU Waiting Thread 2013 Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

So consensus is that if not accepted + deposit down by EOB today we cannot participate in EIW? Should be a fun day.

Also, dinged at CLS by snail mail this weekend. Not sure how much longer I can hold out.

Sorry to hear about CLS. I think you as long as you are accepted, the latest tomorrow, you can probably participate in EIP. It is my understanding that they close EIP bidding late on Wednesday. So in theory, you could have roughly 24hrs to submit bids. That's is overly optimistic, but still a possibility. My guess is that there will be no movement today because of the deposit deadline. In some ways, I feel that fat lady has already performed, but without a audience and now were just awaiting the reviews.

According to earlier posts, no tuition box this year. In addition, looks like there is an UR update then a decision sent, then the tracker email. But this late on the game, it's anyone's guess as to what is going on.

admitted today by phone call, status changed to decision letter mailed, and received the email about an overnight UPS package.

Switched to decision letter sent yesterday, no ding email but no UPS email or phone call. Has anyone been dinged via snail mail?

I wish I could've gone! I'm worried about not getting to know people and everything, but I couldn't come up until today! The bid list is done, and I'm just hoping for the best. I kinda miss preselect interviews =/
