I emailed admissions about the SLR error message today. Admissions said give it another 1-2 days because the SLR computers are only updated once every few days, so it can take a little while.

I did, they told me that I wouldn't be able to do it until I'd confirmed my enrollment. If you have your login, though, you you should see it at the furthest left of the bearfacts portal.
Thank you for replying.

Yeah, I was told the same thing. I do have a log-in. The mybearfacts website is showing an error, though.
Ahh, looking closer at my email, this is the error I got
We have encountered an error in determining your SLR status. Please contact the Office of the Registrar.
SLR dates not available for requested term.
And they said (in addition to confirm your enrollment before complaining):
The information needed for you to complete the SLR is being sent to the registrar's office, so you should be able to complete it by Wednesday of next week. Please let us know if you continue to have problems completing it after that time.
Since we all got admitted the same day, I'd guess that they have the same timeline for everyone's materials, so I wouldn't worry about it unless it also isn't working tomorrow.
Thank you again.

I am glad that it isn't just something on my end (aka bad luck) and they are aware of the issue.

If you are admitted as a transfer student and wish to enroll, you must commit in writing and withdraw your transfer applications from all other schools.
Fuck.
letter trumps website. theres so much inconsistent info on everything from personal statemnts to deadlines on all school websites

I did hear back from them, but it took them about 48 hours from the time I sent the email to get the forms.

Also, has anyone been able to fill out an SLR yet? Because I still can't.

Have you guys figured out where to access all of the EIW data from last year? I know it exists, I just don't know where it exists... I've got a partial bidlist that's just how I feel about firms and NALP data about offer rate/no. of summers, but it would be cool to have some more Berkeley-specific info.

There's a link to the spreadsheet at the bottom of this page: http://www.law.berkeley.edu/10682.htm, you need to login to access the page, but the login info was on the email Terry sent on Thursday.

Thanks for the SLR info. As a followip, I called them and they basically said the batches are weird and done in no particular order and that everything should be run through by mid next week.

About the SLR stuff, did you submit a statement of intent to register (I don't even know what that is)? Also, I thought we didn't need to submit a deposit; am I totally off base?
So you don't need to send a deposit to indicate your planning to attend, you just need to send admissions an email accepting the admissions offer - you're right about that.

I did send in my acceptance, and that's why I as worried, because I sent it about 1.5 weeks ago, and still can't fill out the SLR. What admissions said today is that the computer that allows you to fill it out instead of having a weird error message processes new students in weird batches that have little/nothing to do with when you give them your intent to enroll.

That being said, I am not sure you start being processed into the SLR computers until they do receive your intent, though I am not actually positive about that because according to the emails, only creating a Berkeley email address required an acceptance first?

tl;dr - I am also fairly confused and generally have no idea.

Sorry for any spelling/grammatical mistakes, typing from my phone.

They told me the SLR issue is just a delay between law admissions and the university at large, and will be remedied by next tuesday.

Those of you doing write-on: have you gotten a confirmation email from CLR from when you sent in your registration form? The email said they would confirm when they receive your form/payment, and I'm nervous because I haven't gotten the email yet and now it's the due date for the form.

I sent in the registration form and the check about two weeks ago, and still got the final deadline warning email. I emailed back a confirmation to make sure they received all my stuff and they quickly responded with a "you're all good." Probably busy compiling the 600 pages for the info packet :/
