UT to H or Y

Postby Anonymous User » Mon Mar 04, 2013 2:57 pm

I have a 3.98 after the first semester at UT. First, does anyone have any idea what percentile this? I'm guessing top ~10% but have little to base this on. Obviously, for transferring purposes I need to work hard this semester to maintain/improve grades. Anyone know how realistic a transfer to Harvard or Yale would be?
Also, is a transfer like this worthwhile? I want to work in Texas and I have an SA with a firm where I would be happy to start at after graduation, so it wouldn't be for OCI purposes (unless I get no offered). It seems like it would be beneficial to have a degree from a better school down the line though.
