FAFSA and Transfers
How does it work? When I renew FAFSA now, do I put down the other schools to which I plan to apply for transfer? Or do I list my current school only and change it later if I'm accepted somewhere?

I put down all the schools I planned to apply to but I think the other way would work as well.Anonymous User wrote:How does it work? OP here: I'm worried that my current school will see that I listed other schools and give me a hard time about transferring. Baseless worrying?

Yes, especially since you will need to notify your school that you are transferring eventually by requesting a letter of good standing and whatnot.Anonymous User wrote:OP here: I'm worried that my current school will see that I listed other schools and give me a hard time about transferring. Oh, good point OP. Guess I will have to list the schools I plan on applying to as well. Thanks for making this thread.

I'm pretty sure I just waited to do my FAFSA until like June/July. No reason to do it now.

Sorry to hijack, but does the fact that there's a "priority filing deadline" on March 15th actually mean anything?
