As a 2012 transfer, I say congrats to everyone. Seeing your stats though, I could tell that a number of you were shoe ins.

Re: GWU EA xfer 2013 Waiting Thread
Congrats to all who have been accepted!
A couple of questions -- what date do you have to deposit or decide by?
I applied by March 15th so just a couple weeks after early action so I was wondering if I'd hear in a couple weeks or more like June/July.
Thank you!

Only got one question so far. If anyone else has anything to ask, feel free. School is out, grades are already coming in, and I am actually in a good mood.

RD decisions I believe come some time in June. They'll look at your 2nd semester grades, so send them in as soon as you get them.Anonymous User wrote:do you know when they made RD decisions last year? i was deferred EA...TTRansfer wrote:Only got one question so far. I like the school. It's expensive, but the classes are solid and I enjoy my classmates quite a bit. I landed a job that I probably could have gotten at my old school, but I gained a metric ton of interviews at other firms and I think that GW at least gave me a chance. GW is really great for government positions. Not sure how the sequester is going to effect that, though.

Nice! Hmmm so they make decisions on a rolling basis? Or all together?TTRansfer wrote:RD decisions I believe come some time in June. What was the vibe you got as a transfer both in the class and at OCI?

Should be rolling. They will accept all of their top students at once and then wait a bit to see if they fill up their transfer class and then move on.Anonymous User wrote:Nice! The school is big enough as to where there is not a huge transfer stigma. One of my best friends is a non-transfer student who I met this semester. OCI they will certainly ask you why you transferred, but I had no trouble getting interviews. Obviously ended up being sort of neutral for me, but YMMV.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
