Did your status change today, or did you just receive that e-mail? I'm going to go ahead and say that I'm probably out of the running if I didnt get that e-mail and I expect a rejection any minute lol. I wonder if they always change the date on the status checker when a decision is made, or if that is no longer the case.

Hello from Georgetown. I'm writing to you today to give you an
update on the transfer admission process at Georgetown. You are in
a small group that the Committee is currently looking at for possible
spaces in the entering transfer class.

Although as of today our already admitted transfer student deposits
are quite strong, it is always possible that we may extend a few
spaces in the class in the coming days. At this stage, the Committee
is particularly interested in applicants who truly want to be at
Georgetown. We understand that circumstances may change over time.
While we are not asking you to commit, it would be extremely helpful
to know what you are thinking at this point and the likelihood of
enrolling if admitted.

Please respond to Angela Tingler at ............ as soon as possible to let us know your level of interest. On our end, we
will try to keep you as up to date as possible.

I'm not sure yet, they are playing it extremely close to the start of the semester. Did you receive the same e-mail? What are you deciding to do?

I'm very confused by the admissions process. People are still receiving initial waitlist decisions? I was asked if I was to remain in consideration but never put on the "Preferred WL"?

seems like we are screwed... they pull people off until Registration Day... thats like another month that we could be waiting.

Heard they gave out acceptances.....maybe I am the backup list in case you guys that got the acceptances today turn them down

Not sure if I am attending....I got into UT today as well. I have until August 1 to make a deposit and they said to let them know asap. I was not on a wait list....I turned my application in late. I will decide tommorow or the next day and let them know immediately so it may free a spot for someone on a wait list.

I'm going to be stunned for awhile. I thanked them for taking my app into serious consideration and said I wished to remain in consideration until Registration Day. I did address the committee the same way the attorneys in my firm did regarding the header, but I doubt something that minor could of been the issue. Super confused
