NYU transfers 2013

Postby tiffanyrussell10 » Sat Feb 16, 2013 6:41 pm

Were there very many people from schools ranked 50-60, that were 1-10% in their class that successfuly transfered to NYU this last time?

How much weight do they give to LSAt and UGPA

If you look through the NYU transfer thread from June/July/August of 2012, you'll get a good sense of accepted transfer students' stats. There's a googledoc on one of the pages on the thread that shows applicants' stats and whether they were accepted. Generally speaking though, I think you'd at least need to be within the top 5% at a T50-60 (if not the top 1-3%). It's hard to know exactly how much weight is assigned to UGPA and LSATs, but I'm convinced UGPA is not considered at all (case in point, I had a 2.8 UGPA and successfully transferred to NYU). LSATs is probably given more weight, though again, it's hard to know.
