+1 to all of this.

I went straight from Application Ready for Review as of 07/06 to the acceptance email and status tracker change. There was no "Under Review" stage for me. Congratulations to all those in, and I hope good news arrives for all of you!

Given the sequence that many admits provide, it seems that my "ready for review" since 06/20 without change or admission so far is a sure indicator that I have been dinged.
I am Top 3% at T20. Am I that out of the picture?

Your numbers seem competitive. I know that last year, a girl with a lower class rank than I have was admitted from my school, and ostensibly those numbers/school are less competitive than yours. The fact that applications like yours and several other posters ITT are still pending makes me think that there may well be a third wave, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

I have taken the liberty of setting up a great thread for all the new admits who want to discuss all these sorts of topics:

FYI -- rejections via email in the next week or two per admissions. Not really any new information, but thought I would post it anyway.

that information is far less helpful without accompanying information about whether additional waves of acceptances will come out lol

I think we can safely infer there will be more admits though, otherwise the rejection letters would just go out now.

I'm hesitant to infer anything from admissions committee actions

I just listened to the theme music from Rudy, and I feel like I'm going to get in today.

I mean, I suppose that they could just let us linger (did you have to? did you have to?) knowing that they weren't planning on taking any other students, but I really doubt that when all it would take is an email. Maybe it's as Nadopretz says and now there is a final review for posterity or something, but this also seems unlikely to take 1-2 weeks if they are planning on simply rejecting everyone.

I want finality on this just as much as everyone else, but unfortunately, there is probably a reason not to give up hope quite yet.

+1. I may be a super downer, but I agree with FlanSolo -- They are likely confirming the bulk of the rejections, but I also don't think they are going to reject all of us, I imagine they are going to keep a couple of us hanging on until the final hours just to make sure they fill all their seats... And to torture us.

Yep - I think is right. I'd like to think that if I fall into such a category of admits I could turn around and satisfyingly reject them, but we all know that's not going to happen.

Following the post above, as I am losing hope, in terms of the transfer hierachy of law schools, which is higher, H or S?

IMO, once you're in the Top-3, it doesn't really matter. Stanford will likely have more pull in CA, but either one is the bee's knees.

Stanford pulled ahead in the US News rankings this year, but everyone knows the 2 and 3 spots are interchangeable. If one law firm this year gave S a 4 and H a 5 and next year gives them both 5s, that is probably enough to put H back at 2.

My impression is that H is better for business-y type law and generally in the Northeast, and S is better for academic-y and technology-y type law and will be dominant in CA. But my impression is silly.

I secretly openly hope you guys to make a decision ASAP, as you are likely to receive admissions from both H and S.
