I'll send someone $20 via paypal to call and ask when the next wave is coming.

Also, lol at all of us if they called everyone on Friday and we're just assuming there are more admits coming.

I don't think they'd do that. I didn't go "ready for review" until friday afternoon.

That would be so sad for us.

I literally had to call them to be ready for review, and that wasn't until yesterday. So...

It went something like "So...all of my stuff has been sent in for like 2 weeks and I'm still incomplete." And then the lady was like "You're right. Well now you're complete."

I wonder what would happen if I never called...

sorry guys hate to break it to you all but they are done with the admits. they do it over this two-day window from last Friday to yesterday. Unless there were a few strays today, that's it.

Like I said, I didn't go under review until after acceptances went out. I think more are coming. I'm top 1-2% at UT, I'd like to think I have a shot.

Don't think the UR thing matters. A lot of people apply and get accepted a few days later. It's not all about stats with transfer appslication.

I'm trying to figure out why you've been off the board for a year and then jumped on here to troll.

Why worry about whether he's trolling or not? He hasn't offered any substantiation or reasoning. Just crapping all over us. GTFO.

It might be true but I think it is highly unlikely that of all the transfer hopefuls on these boards, the only HLS acceptances came on one day.

And only 3 or 4, at that. I bet to get a transfer class of ~30, they have to admit at least 45 because of YS cross-admits. No way only 3-4 admits out of 45 are on this board and spoke up.

KindleNexusfan wrote:If you look at previous years that pattern does not universally apply. The year before last admits were on July 12th and 20th. OCI is now earlier than it was in 2010 so there won't be admits as late as the 20th. However, there isn't reason to think admits are, as a rule, on one Friday and the following Monday. If that were the case then, unless TLS usage has dropped precipitously, HLS is admitting far fewer people this year than last. As there are only 4 or so admits on TLS this year and at least 3 or 4 times that many last year and the year before. Also, if last year's pattern is an absolute rule then rejections would come out today. So unless this poster has some inside line to the admissions office I think he can be dismissed.
I don't know who you are, but call me maybe?

Did we ever figure out if it matters that the status checker says ready for review but at the top it ssays application is being processed and blah blah blah?

I think we concluded that is the last phase before decision.
