True. I just wish the schools would hold themselves to hard and fast deadlines. Basically all professionals adhere to deadlines, so I'm not sure why admissions committees should be exempt from this general principle. You could even argue this is in their best interest, because it would likely reduce the amount of time people hold out on them without making a commitment first.

Of course, they don't do this because ultimately they don't care and they hold almost all of the leverage.

Yeah I know what you mean. But, if I were to be accepted, I don't think it would happen in the first couple waves. I figured I'd be one of the last, sort of like "Ehh, well he was #1. Let's give him a shot."

No i didn't. I would be estatic with either Penn or Michigan. Based on last year's thread, a couple of ppl were accepted/rejected from Penn and Michigan today. Also it was a huge day for CLS on this date last year i believe
