Email a few minutes ago, subject line "Admit."

Stats: T30 school, top 5-6%, 2 years WE, moot court, LR. Lots of ties to the Northeast.
Congrats! I want to ride the wave too!

Congrats Forestgirl! I'll see you in the fall!

Also: orientation is on August 7th. So soon. I have so many things to do before then. But alas, I still can't believe it.

Just looked into journals: transfers can only do secondary journals at this point, but the application for them is NOT a write-on competition. All we have to do is submit a 2 page personal statement, resume, transcript, and a writing sample. The only bad thing is that these materials are due on July 27th.

Add it to the list of things to do! :D

I have had my stuff in for two weeks or so, and called and confirmed with them that it was all received, but my status checker still has things not checked off (including transcript, which should come from LSAC). Getting a little worried, anyone else having this problem?

Last year some people complained about being de facto waitlisted at Columbia and just withdrawing eventually.

I sent my UG transcript/dean letter/etc on like 6/15, I applied via LSAC on 6/28, finally went complete on 7/12, and was accepted 7/16.

This is what gives me a bad feeling about CLS: I applied on LSAC on 6/10, went complete 6/20, and haven't heard since.

Ditto. Complete since 6/20 and not a peep yet. Same with NYU, unfortunately.

Man, now this is making me nervous. Still transcript unchecked and law school dean's cert unchecked. They told me they received it when I called. I don't want to call again and come off like a pest, but shit, after all that I would hate to get dinged just because of misinformation...

I applied sometime in the last week of June, then realized I hadn't sent the grade explanation. My school emailed the explanation and I went complete on 7/11, but with boxes for transcript and law school dean's cert still unchecked. In today 7/16 via email.

Just looked and those boxes are still unchecked-- so if they told you they received the items, it's probably nothing to worry about. Good luck!

Both of mine are unchecked too but it does say complete at the bottom.

Do you think its worth calling again, or does that seem obnoxious? Maybe I should just let the dice fall.

Does the status checker say Complete, even if boxes are unchecked? If it says Complete, I wouldn't call.

Still says incomplete. They told me on the phone they had everything though.

Have any of the other admits tried to apply for housing yet? I am trying but I can't find my PID number. According to the admissions packet, it should be in my acceptance packet, but it's not in the PDF letter they sent me.

Answering my question: Admissions was able to give me my personal ID # over the phone. I think it comes in the packet (which I haven't received yet), but I wanted to apply for housing right away.
