Is there such thing as "good news" at this late stage in the process? Lol.CUNYbound wrote:Hope "no new is good news" for now. True, but... I heard that administration in Columbia is very slow and unorganized.canesfan1986 wrote:Is there such thing as "good news" at this late stage in the process? Ehh, frankly, I'd rather get a rejection today rather than waiting a week to ultimately get a rejection, soo, no news is crappy news hahCUNYbound wrote:Hope "no new is good news" for now. They sent me an acknowledgement of my withdrawal today, finally.

Re: Columbia 2012 Transfer Applicants
Just got a delightful email telling me my application is still incomplete. This is hilarious because in the past when I called to ask about my status they made no reference to missing materials.
Oh well, sorry CLS, going to NYU!

I emailed CLS about my NYU acceptance, and they informed me that a letter was mailed to my address on the 31st. Ding! lol wow NYU came through. So glad. Less choices are better at this point.

Same - I sent them an email a while ago telling them I sent what they said was missing. They email me today saying it has to come in by tomorrow. They obviously have it, I still have the order receipts. Not only do they not have their act together - they're also jerks about it.mdfreeman wrote:Just got a delightful email telling me my application is still incomplete. Note to next year's applicants - apply extremely early and make sure you get them to mark your application as complete quickly. Send all materials to them via certified mail with a return receipt.
