Why would it look BAD? It might be unnecessary, but it wouldn't look bad.

Last year April 20th was a wednesday. Does anyone think we could hear wednesday? Or most likely Friday?

No clue... Even if someone thinks they know, it's just speculation anyway. We'll know soon enough. (Hopefully sooner than later)

Definitely hoping sooner rather than later. Still not even so much as an "Under Review." Been complete since 2/24, sent the app on like Feb 4th. I asked 12 days ago and they said "in the next couple of weeks"; hoping they mean the literal sense of "a couple" (2), rather than a vague "some time later, now-shut-up" sense.

I'm putting my money on next Monday. In previous years the first round of people whose application complete date changed to the current date got in. It seems to always happen on a Monday. Last year it was April 18th.

Hopefully we will know this week... it would be nice to know before finals start so I don't keep wasting my time obsessively checking the status checker and/or trying to get access to the admitted students page in vain.

When you called did they give you a projected date for when they would start releasing decisions?

The anxiety is killing me...
In other news, someone from Emory just outed me and I feel as if I am persona non grata in my social circle. Jeez, now I REALLY want to transfer!
This happen to anyone else yet?

Any other details yet on when we will hear from GULC?

I heard the magic date is April 20th... So should we hear this Friday? Where are people trying to get into the accepted student website? How do you do that? Also, does GULC send emails or snail mail acceptance? For GW Law I got an email and then snail mail a week later... What should we expect???

Thanks

Also, even though the GULC website says A-/B+ average top 15%... Are most people accepted EA literally only people in the top 5%? IS there still a shot if you are not... or should you hold your breath and expect the worst?

Idk if there is any way for us to know when we will hear. Last year, the 20th was a Wednesday, so you could claim tomorrow might be the big day. There is a trick about the accepted student page. Check out last years thread. Snail mail.

Going through past threads and the Yahoo Transfer Group Database, they extend EA to people up to the top 10%, but most are top 5%. I think they say top 15% just to be accommodating since they would admit someone from like Vanderbilt with top 15% but definitely not someone from Cooley.

Type of your last name in the first box
Then the email you used to apply in the box below

If it kicks you a password = you got the golden ticket
If a red box comes up, repeat

If we get outright dinged through an EA/ED program, does that mean we are targeting too high?

If i recall from years past, nobody gets dinged. If you are not accepted, you get deferred to RD.
