Cornell Transfer

Postby needhelp01 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 12:14 am

Anyone have any information on how transfers have fared at Cornell? / Is it impossible to write on to a journal? Any information would be really helpful!

My sister said the transfers her year all did well, but that was a while ago. It's a very small transfer class size, so it's easier that way. I have no clue about writing onto journal, but I'm guessing there is some type of write on competition.

Where else are you in? I'm deciding between Cornell and Michigan.

Thanks! There is a transfer write-on you have to score above the cut-off for who didn't make it during their regular competition to make it. And I'm still waiting on a few, trying to decide if taking all the debt is worth it though.

I know of a transfer 4 years ago or so from my T2 that ended up getting a 4.0 at Cornell after transferring there just out of the top 10% at my school (nice turnaround). He then went to a very well respected firm. That said, I know of this student second hand, so there may be a little embellishment. If this has been unhelpful I apologize, I just saw cornell transfer and immediately was like I KNOW ONE, I KNOW ONE!
