Re: Chances (Updated Stats).
If you've already applied, chances is kind of a moot point.
That said, I think you've got a great shot at MVP on down. Maybe slightly higher chances at Penn if they give a locality bonus of some sort. I also don't think you should bother with UCLA, BC or Fordham because your job prospects are unlikely to improve as a transfer over your current position. If you want to practice in Philly, I'd seriously consider staying put when you get into GULC.

why do you say chances are now a moot point? because it's out of my hands? what do you mean by mvp? i do agree with you regarding bc, ucla, and fordham. i wanted to apply to a few places that i knew i would get in without a problem. penn is my first choice, though, and really the only school that i really want to go to, so i'm very curious to hear from them.

Re: Chances (Updated Stats).
MVP = Michigan, Virginia, Penn.
Since you only applied to Penn out of those three, it didn't really make much sense to use that designation. What is your status at Georgetown? A ton of people already have decisions there. Where do you want to work? Penn and Georgetown are the most likely to come through of the schools it would make any sense to transfer to.

I did apply to Penn also. I'm also top 5% at a Philly T2. Currently under review.rising2l wrote:under review at georgetown still. i want to work in nyc, dc, philly, or boston. hoping for penn because my life wouldn't change much (family, friends, etc.). did you apply to penn as well? what are your stats?

Re: Chances (Updated Stats).
Me. Same school as Wholigan, but top 6% (just missed the top 5% cut-off). Like the rest of you, if I get Penn, I will go (but I probably won't get in based on who they have taken so far).rising2l wrote:who else on here from philly schools applied to penn?
Also, concerning your list of schools, I was accepted to GULC, but I applied pretty early (though not EA).

Re: Chances (Updated Stats).
It was just a guess based on the GPA cut-offs we are given that indicate top 5% of the 1L class. I could always be wrong; either way, I'm somewhere between top 4-6% if the cumulative percentage is close to each of the semester percentages.rising2l wrote:whoops, forgot you posted that. how do you know you're top 6%? you just assumed from your gpa? what's your cumulative?
