I actually don't think it's that bad. That said, I'm not done yet.

you can't update your resume on symplicity after bidding closes, but I was told it's perfectly acceptable to bring an updated copy to the interview and explain to the employer that it's an updated version of the resume they've already received.awarunn wrote:I am procrastinating before I make my final push towards getting my LR write on completed...
Does anyone know when the latest date we can upload a new resume is before EIW? I just got my new address, which I would like to include. Also, I am not sure when we find out if we have made a journal or not, which would be nice to include.
i managed to scrape something together at the end, though it probably wasn't worth the effort since it wasn't my best work..GL to you, though, keg!keg411 wrote:So now that the LR write-on is over... I ended up doing it; mostly because I really liked the topic. So good job on the current LR for picking a topic that made doing it really really painless .
i forgot about that.. i probably will.starchinkilt wrote:Anyone going to rsvp to that Dominick's thing for lunch/drink before the eiw meeting?
Yeah, I never got that either .lawloser22 wrote:What Dominick's thing?crazyblink653 wrote:i forgot about that.. i probably will.starchinkilt wrote:Anyone going to rsvp to that Dominick's thing for lunch/drink before the eiw meeting?

Yeah, nothing is working for me either.keg411 wrote:I found everything. And yeah, I'll be at the lunch. I'm getting to AA on the 19th.
Thanks .
ETA: Also, a bunch of the links don't work for some reason (including the RSVP link). I'm guessing there's site maintenance or something since it is Sunday afternoon.
I had that problem earlier. For some reason, that's the site that shows up in a google search, but the one you want is accessed from here.lawloser22 wrote:still have no idea what you guys are talking about. is this the right link? http://www.law.umich.edu/gradadmit/Pages/default.aspxstarchinkilt wrote:Yeah, nothing is working for me either.keg411 wrote:I found everything. Yeah Mon the 22nd, they have a bunch of dates that don't match up without the correct day of the week all over that sitelawloser22 wrote:Ah, thank you very much. We're assuming they mean the 22nd, right?
I left off my original school but kept everything else, fwiw.lawloser22 wrote:Additionally, am I retarded, or is "any identifying information" a little vague (re: MJPVL). I feel like the whole point of a resume is to identify yourself/concisely communicate who you are to others...

I left mine on as well. I think names are what they're really concerned about.starchinkilt wrote:I left mine oncrazyblink653 wrote:

Damn, I knew I shouldn't have left off my outstanding O.W.L.s in divination and ancient runes. But seriously, I'm not worried. If anything, from all my communications with transfer students, my undergrad gives me away more than my law school does.lawloser22 wrote:Mine honestly could not be more obvious from the other information on my resume. I doubt it matters. I just thought it was kinda funny since I would've had to remove many other useful details to hide it...starchinkilt wrote:

Therefore, I changed my original school to "Hogwarts," where I obtained a 10.0 GPA and 6 CALIs in various highly-complex magic tricks.
