Yale Deadline Question

Postby Transferthrowaway » Wed Jun 29, 2011 9:21 am

Does the application have to reach them by July 1st? Or just be postmarked by July 1st?

I called. It's waived.

They are really waiving app fees? I sent them a paper app with a check. Wonder if they are going to rip it up or cash it? Don't feel like calling

Why would they do that? It might enourage people like me who in reality have a 0% chance, but in their own mind think they have a 0.00001% chance to apply.

Maybe they have no room for transfers and feel bad for taking applicants' money.

Actually, a very nice lady i talked to there several weeks ago indicated that due to bureaucratic difficulties, they had seriously messed up their transfer application process and were therefore waiving the fee.
