Re: Notre Dame Transfer?
Just so you know. You missed the deadline for law review. If the transfer deadline hasn't passed and you want to go there then you might as well apply.

Re: Notre Dame Transfer?
Thanks for the heads up! I do not care that much about law review as a transfer.
Does anyone know about ND? are they super super super religious (other than the obvious Catholic part)?
2/203 at 90s school....do you think I have a chance?

Honestly...I think you would have to completely screw up your application to be rejected from ND. What other schools are you applying to? I think you could pull a transfer to a school ranked much higher than this.

Thanks man. I am applying to UChicago, Northwestern, Berkeley , UCLA, USC. I want to stay in Cal or move to Chi. My Target is Boalt, but I am very pessimistic. I want to get in somewhere to expand my options so I am going to shoot some apps to schools ranked in the 20s.

Re: Notre Dame Transfer?
You did miss the LR write-on deadline... but I'd go ahead and send your packet in. The admissions office is very friendly.
I'm CO2013. Feel free to PM me with questions...
If you're super Catholic, ND will be a lot of fun. But if you're not, you can easily avoid the Catholocism... it isn't in-your-face. (With the exception of Professional Responsibility, which is taught by a priest. That priest, however, is also a lawyer.)

Re: Notre Dame Transfer?
Barring some epic screwup in your apps, you should be as close as one can get to being a lock at all of those schools except maybe UChi.
I personally wouldn't waste the money applying to ND, as I feel like you would be in much better shape where you are w/your ranking, etc, and will almost certainly get into to some of the T14 schools you mentioned.
Edit to add that USC accepts very few transfers, so don't know about that one, but for the others you should be solid.

Notre Dame is super, super, super religious about Notre Dame football. Since you rank in the top 2% of your first year law school class, you should be admitted.

Well, your stats are a lot hotter than mine. I'm in England, 5 hours ahead, so I'm going to stop staring at my inbox and go saturate myself with booze. Good luck to all...
