Filling out applications for NYU and Columbia. Do they require you to actually fill in the blanks for interests and jobs if all of the information is already on the resume?

I have the same question...

Also, to piggy back on OP's question: what about the telephone number portion of apps, i.e. home phone, work phone, cell phone (I only have a cell phone... so, do i just put that number in all three slots?)

I follow the general rule in life: When in doubt, just do as you're asked to do and answer the simple questions.

This goes for every mundane administrative request you'll receive in life, but even especially for your application to a law school you desire to transfer to!
