T14 Transfer Status Change Thread Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

I was never "under review" at Columbia. Went straight from "application complete" to getting an acceptance via email. I'd have to imagine that the rest of their decisions would be out this week or next week at the latest? Transfer orientation is August 8 and OCI starts August 12 I believe. Though someone at the career office did mention something about a rolling bidding deadline depending on when you were admitted as a transfer.. so maybe that means there is another wave of admits still to come?

can anyone confirm whether NYU (or CLS) have actually issued any rejections yet? or has it just been sparse acceptances...

I'm 95% sure I don't want to transfer, but ever since someone said Yale is finishing decisions today, I've been checking my e-mail every 5 minutes. Too neurotic!

I have no idea. I accepted as soon as I was offered a seat via the phone, and I have yet to receive the package (although I was told it would arrive today). I also talked to someone with reason to know today who said that Stanford still has more acceptances to give out, and that I was just in the first wave. I don't want to spread false hope, but the person I talked to seemed pretty confident about it (and said it was based on information from this morning).

i think it was until august 1, but i still haven't gotten my packet. the whole conversation was a blur, but i think that's right. that is certainly the deadline for bids on OCI.

I'm still waiting on SLS - no update... still just says "submitted for review." It does say "Full time day" "JD" and "2011" on the right but I can't remember if that was there before or not.
