T14 Transfer Status Change Thread Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Yes. It is an "application complete. we'll contact you when we've made a decision" e-mail.

I went UR on 6/27 also. no decision yet, but I think NYU is a slight long shot anyways.

Also, I just went complete at Columbia. its been over a month since I turned everything in.

Finally complete at Columbia. Pretty set on NYU and will likely be attending, but options are never a bad thing.

Rejected from Michigan via postal mail and Duke via e-mail today. Both were expected.

Accepted to USC today. Probably going to Northwestern, but USC would logistically be an easier move by far.

Very happy with my cycle...

I'm rooting for you. I withdrew from CLS today, so I hope you get my spot. It's lame that you've been so unlucky in this process. Given that OCI starts in about a month, I can't imagine them drawing out these decisions that much longer. For our sake and for their sake, it seems like it would be best to speed this last round up. Or so I hope.

On Tuesday, July 5th, my status changed to "UR" as of July 1st. On the 7th, it changed to "decision letter mailed", and I got my package on Friday the 8th.

Nice on the 3/3. I'm going for the same 3, and just waiting on Columbia (went complete last night). Got NYU and Penn, so the trifecta would be cool.
