I hope you told them how excited you were on the phone. I'd love to be the Admissions person who calls.keg411 wrote:koalatriste wrote:wow, so does anyone need an apartment in ithaca?ms2010 wrote:No it hasn't. Re: T14 Transfer Status Change Thread
I'm sorry that my information may or not have been accurate, but in my defense:
a) the CLS has kept in the dark its process for transfers bidding after late acceptances, b) It seems congruent with common sense that, the closer to the date of EIP one is accepted, the farther one is away gaining premium interview spots (I think another round of bids are due at noon tomorrow...anyone accepted today?), c) CLS has all around treated its transfer applicants like crap, see this tread,
and d) my complaint garnered a CLS admissions officer post:

The more likely scenario is that they save a certain number of spots for transfers that, if they aren't taken, are released to the general student populous wither Wednesday at noon when people can add interviews or at EIP where they have an add process as well.
Further, RE:
The average NYU transfer gets 20-25 interviews. If the average CLS transfer gets “at least 10 interviews,” then that’s less promising than NYU. (Again, to be fair, I’m working with little information. Thanks to CLS.)kritarch wrote: I know a girl who transferred to CLS on the 3rd of August last year who received offers (that obviously also means interviews) from all but two V10 firms. Career services will get any transfer who is admitted after today at least 10 interviews, and more if prodded and asked, and with the very best firms.

i'm definitely an underdog...which is why i'm surprised to still be in the race (unless my application just fell off someone's desk). ~50% at top-20 school. wish i knew what they were thinking so i could figure out my apartment situation...
what are yours?

Also somewhat an underdog....around top 10 percent at T30 school....but soft factors, I feel, are strong. Do you know if they are still handing out acceptances?

In other words, slow mail is slow . I also think I'm out at NYU since someone with my UR date got in yesterday.chanel1285 wrote:just called CLS, the guy said all decisions have been made and we should be hearing shortly.
But I'm happy with the MVP tier and as far as I know, that's the highest anyone from my school cracked anyway.
