Re: T14 Transfer Status Change Thread
7/132 at a school in the 50s. Top 5%.
But, I wouldn't judge anything based on me. The school got my grades in VERY late and my acceptances/rejections have been unpredictable. (Ex: IN at GW, NYU; WAITLIST at GTown; OUT at Penn, Fordham)

E-mailed. They responded by saying that a letter has been mailed.engineered madness wrote:you mean you called and that's what they told you happened today?ms2010 wrote:I was just told a letter has been sent. NYU, here I come!engineered madness wrote:no snail mail from CLS....

Guess I can "congratulate" you on the rejection, since we are now NYU classmates! Don't be bummed. It was a win-win situation. Honestly, when I got my rejection last weekend, I was upset for all of 2 minutes before I put it in perspective.ms2010 wrote:E-mailed. Yeah - I also got into NYU housing today, which I'm pretty excited about. I think NYU will be a great fit.

i just called and they seemed to indicate that acceptances AND rejections are coming through snail mail, saying they have stopped notifying via email and would only do so in particular cases

Re: T14 Transfer Status Change Thread
How would that make any sense? It is literally down to the wire, and people have little to no time left to be waiting around given the huge amount of matters that would be need to be taken care of. Plus, EIW starts in about a week, and new admits would need some time to bid and be introduced to the whole process. I have a very hard time believe that they would actually slow down the procedure for acceptances given the urgency of getting the ball rolling quickly.engineered madness wrote:i just called and they seemed to indicate that acceptances AND rejections are coming through snail mail, saying they have stopped notifying via email and would only do so in particular cases

if this process has taught me anything its two things: it is unpredictable where one would get in and the adcomms could give two shits about the applicant's life/time/need to know/etc.kaiser wrote:How would that make any sense?
